Project: Brighton open space study
Date: October 2010 - March2011
Client: Brighton & Hove City Council – Planning
Scope: Design a new survey methodology, review standards set in previous study, undertake survey of 450 ‘private’ green spaces, full analysis of all open space data, council officer workshop and reporting.
Team: Collaboration led by JPC Strategic Planning and Leisure Ltd.
Outcomes: Project completed to satisfaction of Strategic Planning client.

Project: Epping forest operational plan 2010 – 2013
Date: May – July 2010
Client: City of London Open Spaces – Epping Forest
Scope: Producing new Operational Plan for the Epping Forest team, including designing a methodology and presentation, research and staff engagement, plus advising the client on performance management and monitoring.
Team: THE NEXT FIELD – Peter Wilkinson
Outcomes: New Operational Plan and performance framework adopted by Senior Management Team, plus staff engagement in development process.
Project: Bristol parks and green space strategy
Date: 2006 – 2010
Client: Project delivered when Peter Wilkinson was working for Bristol City Council. Role in project – Project Director.
Scope: New 20 year strategy for the city's parks and green spaces developed in tandem with the Bristol Development Framework (BDF) – including major research and public engagement programme, standard setting, wider policy development, and ambitious investment framework.
Team: Project team mainly consisting of Bristol City Council parks, planning and property officers, with strong links with the Bristol Parks Forum.
Outcomes: Strategy adopted in 2008 leading to strong policy linkages with BDF and next phase development of Neighbourhood based "Area Green Space Plans". Regarded as best practice nationally by CABE Space and other key organisations.
